The 4:12 Institute  

Teaching & equipping believers for effective ministry

The 4:12 Institute is the equipping arm of IBC.  The 4:12 Institute is a non-accrediting institute for individuals fourteen years of age and older who are interested in being prepared for ministry in any capacity.  Here is a nutshell explanation: 
 

Our philosophy is based on Ephesians 4:12, …for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ. 
 

Our confidence is found in Hebrews 4:12, For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 
 

Our purpose is to teach, target, and train potential ministers, teachers, and leaders in the Word of God so that they in turn will be equipped for Biblically effective ministry. 
 

Our goal is to provide each student with a solid doctrinal foundation for the Christian life, practical ministry experience, and the ability to think theologically. 

Our desire is to make the 4:12 Institute accessible to the differing needs and schedules of motivated people who are seeking to prepare for more effective ministry.  For this reason, we have designed four tracks that build on one another.

NEW in FALL 2008! 

DEEP classes via the Master’s College  

As an extension of the Master’s College, located in Santa Clarita, California, our church will now be able to offer many classes that we already offer in our institute, but can now be taken for college credit as part of TMC’s Distance Education Extension Program (DEEP).
